Job Description

We are currently hiring to support the continued growth of our expanding practice! We are seeking a Clinic Custodian to join our Quality Control Division. The Clinic Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and professionally maintained clinic environment. This role ensures that all therapy spaces, bathrooms, common areas, and staff areas meet high cleanliness and infection control standards that support patient safety and enhance team morale. This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, proactive, and takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.

This is a part time role with a schedule of Monday-Friday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.


Job Responsibilities

Main responsibilities may include:

  • Facility Cleaning & Sanitation

    • Deep cleaning and sanitizing of therapy rooms, evaluation spaces, group therapy rooms, and sensory gyms
    • Thorough disinfection of therapy equipment including tables, mats, swings, crash pads, seating, carts, shelves, bins, and storage systems
    • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms including grout, tile, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls, and under/behind fixtures
    • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
    • Sanitizing high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, baseboards, wall scuffs, window trim, etc.)
    • Cleaning interior glass, mirrors, bulletin boards, and signage
    • Deep cleaning waiting areas, hallways, kitchens, and staff spaces
    • Cleaning and disinfecting staff kitchen appliances and shared workspaces
    • Daily trash removal
    • Maintaining infection control standards
    • Completing monthly, quarterly, and seasonal deep cleaning tasks

    • Facility Organization & Maintenance

      • Maintaining organized storage areas
      • Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
      • Completing end-of-day clinic reset procedures
      • Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
      • Monitoring refrigerators and discarding expired food
      • Ensuring clinic readiness for the next operating day

      • Service & Team Support

        • Supporting a positive and collaborative team culture
        • Assisting with clinical events, celebrations, and special occasions
        • Maintaining professional and respectful communication
        • Following all policies and procedures
        • Participating in required meetings, trainings, and safety education
        • Completing self-study and professional development requirements
      • Productivity & Accountability

        • Completing daily cleaning checklists
        • Maintaining consistent sanitation standards
        • Ensuring facility inspections are passed
        • Tracking supply restocking and sanitation completion
        • Supporting predictable maintenance standards across clinic locations
        • Completing any other task in line with the mission of More to Say

      • Experience in custodial, janitorial, healthcare, or school environments is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.

      Base Pay: $18.00 per hour
